Founded in Newport, RI on May 31, 1900, AAA Northeast started as the Rhode Island Automobile Club. The Rhode Island Automobile Club was one of nine clubs that met in Chicago in 1902 to form the American Automobile Associate. AAA has two primary functions: first, to provide products and services that deliver safety, security, peace of mind, and savings to AAA members, and second, to work for the general improvement of motoring conditions through legislative and other activities.
AAA Auto Glass began operations in 2004 and provides auto glass repair and replacement to customers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. AAA Auto Glass has highly trained technicians who maintain certification through the AGSC.
